3) How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers (hosting, analytics, customer support tools, security) who process data for us under contractual controls.
  • Legal and safety: to comply with law, court orders, or to protect users, the public, and our rights.
  • Corporate changes: if we restructure, merge, or sell assets, information may be transferred subject to confidentiality and applicable law.

4) Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including account administration, security, dispute resolution, and legal/recordkeeping requirements. We then delete or de-identify it where reasonable.

5) Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit where supported, logging/monitoring, and least-privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6) Overseas processing

We may store or process information in New Zealand and other countries (e.g., where our providers operate). Where required, we take steps to ensure overseas recipients protect information in a way that is comparable to New Zealand privacy protections.

7) Marketing preferences & cookies

  • You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Service/transactional messages may still be sent.
  • You can control cookies via your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

8) Children and age-gating

Our services are not intended for children under 13. We may use age-gating to restrict access and may request age information for this purpose. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.

9) Your rights (NZ)

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. We may ask to verify your identity and may refuse requests only where the Privacy Act allows. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
